Deep garnet color in the glass and an expressive nose of fresh plum, cassis, licorice, mint, with subtle leather and chaparral notes. Dark red fruits, pepper and spice on the palate, with broad lush tannins that persist powerfully through the finish. While the 2013 showed beautifully in its youth, the broad structure of the 2014 will reward those willing to wait three to five years.
